Nature offers beauty, inspiration and relief. As a class we will adventure into the woods and along the creek to discover the calming/healing effects of Shinrin-yoku a Japanese term meaning "forest bathing."
After a 20-30 minute hike we will pause for an all levels Yoga practice. Students will learn conscious breathing methods, strength and flexibility enhancing postures and a centering final relaxation. Nature plus Yoga amidst the wonderful WNY summer equals time and space for teens to just enjoy being outdoors in a group and increase their overall wellness.
*Please bring a yoga matt and water bottle and wear sneakers or hiking shoes.
